Frequently Asked Questions

1.  How far in advance should I purchase my wedding dress?

As soon as you have set a date and booked a venue. Gowns can take up to 6 months to arrive from the date you place an order. ​We recommend you begin shopping for your dress around 9 months to a year out from your wedding date. No worries though if you have less than 6 months, we have plenty of options for you as well including a love at first sight section where you can walk out with a gown today!

2.  Do we allow browsing?​

We would love for you to stop in and take a look during our regular business hours. Please understand if we are helping another bride with an appointment we will not be able to give you the special experience we believe you deserve when shopping for your dream gown​. We recommend booking an appointment and if our available times do not work for you, please contact us and we will work with your schedule!

3.  How much do the gowns cost?​

Our constantly updated collections have gowns ranging from $700 to $3,000. When you arrive at your appointment we will help you select gowns within a price range you are comfortable with. 

4.  Who should I bring with me to my appointment?​

We recommend 1-3 of your closest family and friends. Wedding dress shopping is super fun, but it can become stressful when a bride is trying to consider so many opinions. Please let us know if you will have a party over 6 or if children will be accompanying you, so we may properly accommodate your party.

5.  What Should I bring with me?

You are more than welcome to bring any photos, vision boards, etc. of gowns, this will help us guide you when selecting styles to try on. Also we recommend wearing nude or lighter colored undergarments​, as well as a strapless bra if available.

6.  How long is my appointment?

Approximately 1 hour and a half. This is the ideal amount of time to browse gowns, try-on and choose your dream dress. If you need additional time, no worries, we can schedule a return visit​!

7.  What sizes do you carry?

We sell gowns sized up to 32 and carry a wide array of sizes. We want every bride to have a variety to try on. Samples (the gowns you try on) rarely fit perfectly, but we are experts in helping give you an idea of how it will fit in your size. (Yes we are a plus size retailer.)

8.  Will I need alterations?

Most wedding dresses will require at least a few alterations to insure a perfect fit and length. Alterations vary on a per gown and per bride basis, and are not included in the price of your wedding dress. We are currently offer these services in house via a Master Seamstress on Wednesdays, or if you prefer we can also refer you to others in the area.
